Imagination Library Fundraising Challenge

Cllr David Mellen, Nottingham City Council, has completed his challenge to raise funds for the Imagination Library – an amazing scheme that delivers a free book every month to children between the ages of 0 and 5 years old. His challenge was to read a storybook to at least 2018 children in January and we are pleased to announce that he has read to 2,780 children in total and raised over £4,000 so far! Young Creative Awards Nottingham 2018

The Nottingham Young Creative Awards are now open for entries! 2018 marks the tenth year of these awards and once again we are extremely excited to see the creativity that Nottingham has to offer. One Nottingham are once again supporting this event and we are hoping for a record number of entries. 2018 children, 20 neighbourhoods, 1 month!

In the first month of 2018 we’re proud to be supporting a special fundraising challenge to help our children in Nottingham to get the best start in life and go on to fulfil their true potential.

Cllr David Mellen, Portfolio for Early Years & Early Intervention at Nottingham City Council, has taken on the challenge to raise funds for the Imagination Library – an amazing scheme that delivers a free book every month to children between the ages of 0 and 5 years old.
