Health and Wellbeing Board
The Nottingham City Health and Wellbeing Board is a statutory partnership, set up to lead and advise on work to improve the health and wellbeing of the population of Nottingham City and specifically to reduce health inequalities. It is responsible for the Healthy Nottingham strand of the Nottingham Plan.
Health and Wellbeing Boards were introduced by government as part of the Health and Social Care Act 2012. Nottingham's Health and Wellbeing Board operated in shadow form, before becoming a statutory partnership from April 2013.
The Health and Wellbeing Board is chaired by Councillor Alex Norris and the vice chair is Dr Ian Trimble.
