Governance

Proposals for major changes to the governance of One Nottingham were agreed by the Board. The new arrangements are aimed at ensuring that One Nottingham, as the Local Strategic Partnership, is able to deliver the Vision and Sustainable Community Strategy (SCS) for Nottingham, the Local Area Agreement (LAA) and effective partnership work evidenced by the Comprehensive Area Assessment

The new governance arrangements and delivery structures are simplified and clearly focused on delivering the city's priorities as set out in the Sustainable Community Strategy.  The three layers of of the new structure are:

  • Strategic Partnership Board
  • Executive Management Group
  • Operational Theme Partnerships

The theme partnership proposals are:

  • World Class Nottingham - leading on economic, investment and transport issues
  • Neighbourhood Nottingham - bringing together housing, neighbourhood and community concerns
  • Strong, Aspiring, Family Nottingham - driven by the Children's Partnership Board
  • Working Nottingham - focused on raising skills and getting people into work
  • Safer Nottingham - led by the Crime and Drugs Partnership
  • Healthy Nottingham - led by the Health and Wellbeing Partnership
  • Aspiring - co-ordinated by the Children's Partnership Board
  • Green - leading work on a move to a low carbon future
