Decade of Better Health

New Decade, New You. A Healthier Nottingham.

We're going to make a healthy change

Our city will enter the next decade with a population which is not as healthy as it could be.  Smoking, obesity and alcohol related illness remain higher than national averages and while levels of physical activity are higher than the national average, less than a quarter of our population claim to undertake the recommended five or more half an hour sessions each week.  Our health is suffering due to unhealthy lifestyle choices and this means that more people are suffering from ill health and are dying younger than they should be.

We need to make our city a healthier city to ensure we all live happier, healthier and longer and if we all make a small change to improve our health, then together we can make a big difference to Nottingham City.

The Decade of Better Health is a campaign that will work towards improving the health and wellbeing of Nottingham City residents over the next decade.  Sign up now at www.onehealthynottingham.com to make your healthy change and become eligible for FREE advice, support and offers.  Together we can make our City a healthier City.
